Running through this urban metropolis is The Dubai Fountain set on the 30-acre Burj
Lake. The modern visual and technological marvel is designed by the creators of

the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas and shoots water up to 150 metres high, the
equivalent of a 50-storey building. The fountain spans 275 metres in length,
featuring five water domes and two central arcs to create a captivating

sound, light and water show. Over 6,600 lights and 25 colour projectors mean the
fountain’s light beam can be seen from over 20 miles away. The musical repertoire
includes regional and international classics such as the Arabic dance number Shik Shak
Shok and Andrea Bocelli’s Time to Say Goodbye. There are numerous restaurants lining
either side of The Dubai Fountain located in either The Dubai Mall or Souk Al Bahar
for guests to enjoy this incredible spectacle while enjoying
